13 Jan

Tickets to our next show, What Feeds Us, are selling fast, and we’re sure it has something to do with the uber-talent who is our next musical guest. For your aural pleasure at the end of this sunny workweek, we are so excited to have Reid Jamieson onstage on Jan. 27.

We can’t let slip the details quite yet, but our next show will be Jan. 27, in a spectacular location, with an amazing partner, on a subject that’s near and dear to our hearts.

Stay tuned, friends.

Duty Bound? Come For a Fiver

As our Nov. 3 show at the Grandview Legion Hall approaches, we want to recognize and appreciate all of Vancouver’s veteran and currently serving police officers, firemen, paramedics, and soldiers. If this is you, we’d love to let you in at the door for $5. Just pre-register online here, and then show a badge or photo ID at the door. It’s that easy!

We picked our venue, the Grandview Woodland Legion Hall, and the theme, partially to reflect upon the duties that bind us to our communities, to our country, and to each other. In advance of Remembrance Day, as you don your poppy, come out and share your own story about what duty means to you in this modern age.

The secret is out!

As all of you know Vancouver is full of hidden gems – hole in the wall bars, quiet gardens and wonderful shops. As a part of Culture Days, the national celebration of arts and culture, a handful of celebrated Vancouverites shared some of their favourite undiscovered cultural haunts. Our beautiful and talented friend Jill Barber kindly presented us as one of the Cultural Secrets of Vancouver and we couldn’t be more excited! Check out this map of cultural secrets across the city (click the Wise Hall to read more about the Rain City Chronicles) and watch the clip of Jill revealing her secret.
